Peer Review Process
- Step 1: Submission
- Authors submit the manuscript through the journal submission system or email (as applicable).
- Step 2: Initial Editorial Screening
- The editorial office checks:
- Scope relevance
- Formatting requirements
- Ethical compliance
- Plagiarism screening (maximum 20% similarity)
- The editorial office checks:
- Step 3: Desk Review Decision
- The Editor-in-Chief may:
- Reject the manuscript, or
- Send it for peer review
- The Editor-in-Chief may:
- Step 4: Assignment to Reviewers
- Manuscripts passing desk review are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with subject expertise.
- Step 5: Double-Blind Review
- Authors and reviewers remain anonymous
- Reviewers evaluate:
- Originality
- Methodology
- Contribution
- Clarity and structure
- Step 6: Reviewer Recommendations
- Reviewers provide one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor revision
- Major revision
- Reject
- Reviewers provide one of the following decisions:
- Step 7: Editorial Decision
- The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer reports
- In case of conflicting reviews, a third reviewer may be consulted
- Step 8: Revision by Authors
- Authors revise the manuscript and submit:
- Revised manuscript
- Response to reviewers’ comments
- Authors revise the manuscript and submit:
- Step 9: Final Acceptance
- After satisfactory revision, the manuscript is accepted for publication
- Step 10: Publication
- Accepted articles are formatted, assigned DOI, and published online
