Special Issue: Sustainable Business Transformation in Emerging Economies

Business Research Review (BRR) invites original research papers for a Special Issue on Sustainable Business Transformation in Emerging Economies. Submit here. During submission, select "Special Issue: SBT"

The Special Issue will examine how firms, markets, financial systems, and institutions are responding to sustainability challenges through innovation, responsible governance, technological change, and evolving consumer behaviour.

Main Themes
Submissions are particularly welcome in the following areas:
- Sustainable business models and corporate transformation: Circular economy, CSR, net-zero strategies, social enterprise, sustainable operations, and responsible business practices.
- Governance, finance, and accountability: Corporate governance, ESG, sustainability reporting, integrated reporting, climate finance, financial inclusion, and responsible investment.
- Technology and innovation for sustainability: Digital transformation, blockchain, FinTech, renewable technologies, and technology-enabled sustainable development.
- Sustainable marketing and consumer behaviour: Green marketing, ethical branding, consumer trust, sustainable consumption, environmental claims, and changing consumer preferences.

The Special Issue welcomes empirical, conceptual, review, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies, particularly those offering clear theoretical and practical contributions. Research from emerging and developing economies, as well as comparative and cross-country studies, is encouraged.

Submission
Manuscripts should follow the author guidelines of Business Research Review (BRR) and will undergo the journal’s standard editorial screening and peer-review process.
