Call for Papers

The Journal of Policy Affairs (JPA), a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal published by Spider Publisher, invites high-quality submissions from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers exploring contemporary challenges and innovations in public policy, governance, and institutional development. JPA provides a dynamic platform for research that bridges theory and practice, addressing issues at local, national, regional, and global levels.

Topics of Interest:

We welcome original research articles, policy analyses, systematic reviews, conceptual papers, case studies, and comparative studies in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Public administration and governance reform

  • Policy innovation and institutional transformation

  • Sustainable development and climate policy

  • Social equity, inclusion, and human development

  • Digital transformation in governance and e-government

  • Regulatory frameworks and compliance

  • International relations and global policy cooperation

  • Public finance, budgeting, and fiscal policy

  • Policy evaluation and evidence-based decision making

Interdisciplinary studies that combine perspectives from political science, law, economics, sociology, environmental governance, development studies, and related fields are highly encouraged.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in English.

  • All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review.

  • Authors retain copyright of their work; articles are published under a Creative Commons license.

  • Currently, all accepted articles are free to publish. No fees/APC will be charged for articles, and no surcharges will apply for the length of an article, for illustrations and figures (including color figures), and for supplementary data unless noted otherwise.
