Call for Papers

The Health Research Review (HRR) with its institutional collaborator the Bangladesh Center for Health Studies (BCHS), invites high-quality submissions from scholars, practitioners, and healthcare professionals exploring contemporary challenges, innovations, and developments in health, medicine, and public health. HRR provides a platform for research that bridges theory and practice, addressing issues at local, national, and global levels to improve health outcomes and policy.

Topics of Interest

We welcome original research articles, systematic reviews, conceptual papers, case studies, and empirical studies in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Public health policy, healthcare management, and health systems research

  • Epidemiology, disease prevention, and health promotion

  • Clinical research, diagnostics, and therapeutic innovations

  • Health technology, digital health, and telemedicine

  • Healthcare quality, patient safety, and evidence-based medicine

  • Global health, health equity, and social determinants of health

  • Nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and preventive health strategies

  • Health economics, financing, and policy evaluation

  • Mental health, behavioral health, and community health interventions

  • Infectious diseases, pandemic preparedness, and immunology research

  • Interdisciplinary studies integrating medicine, nursing, psychology, economics, and data science in health contexts

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in English.

  • All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review.

  • Authors retain copyright of their work; articles are published under a Creative Commons license.

  • Currently, all accepted articles are free to publish. No fees/APC will be charged for articles, and no surcharges will apply for the length of an article, for illustrations and figures (including color figures), and for supplementary data unless noted otherwise.  

  • Manuscripts should be submitted via the SPIDER Publisher Paper Submission System.
