Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

  • JEFA allows limited and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in manuscript preparation in line with international publishing ethics.
  • AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar systems) may be used only for language editing, grammar correction, and improving readability.
  • AI must not be used to generate research data, results, analysis, interpretations, or conclusions without proper human verification and academic responsibility.
  • AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors under any circumstances.
  • Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the entire manuscript, including any AI-assisted content.
  • All AI-generated suggestions must be carefully reviewed, edited, and validated by the author(s) before submission.
  • Undisclosed or inappropriate use of AI tools may result in rejection, revision request, or retraction of the article.
  • If AI tools are used in manuscript preparation, authors must include the following declaration:

    Declaration of using generative AI: During the preparation of this work the author(s) used ChatGPT in order to correct the grammatical errors. After using this tool/service, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as needed and take full responsibility for the content of the published article.

  • The editorial board reserves the right to request clarification regarding the use of AI tools in any submitted manuscript.
  • JEFA is committed to promoting transparent, ethical, and responsible use of AI in academic publishing while ensuring full accountability of authors.
