Call for Papers

The Human Social Review (HSR), a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal published by SPIDER Publishing, invites high-quality submissions from scholars, practitioners, and social scientists exploring contemporary challenges, trends, and innovations in human and social sciences. HSR provides a platform for research that bridges theory and practice, addressing issues at individual, community, national, and global levels.

We welcome original research articles, systematic reviews, conceptual papers, case studies, and empirical studies in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Sociology, anthropology, and cultural studies

  • Human behavior, psychology, and mental health research

  • Education, pedagogy, and lifelong learning

  • Social policy, welfare, and human development

  • Gender studies, diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Migration, urbanization, and community development

  • Social justice, human rights, and legal frameworks

  • Political sociology and social movements

  • Media, communication, and digital society

  • Ethics, philosophy, and interdisciplinary human studies

  • Interdisciplinary studies combining social sciences, economics, law, and public policy

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in English.

  • All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review.

  • Authors retain copyright of their work; articles are published under a Creative Commons license.

  • Currently, all accepted articles are free to publish. No fees/APC will be charged for articles, and no surcharges will apply for the length of an article, for illustrations and figures (including color figures), and for supplementary data unless noted otherwise.  

  • Manuscripts should be submitted via the SPIDER Publisher Paper Submission System.
