The Journal of Business Governance (JBG) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, open-access journal published by SPIDER Publishing, dedicated to advancing scholarship in corporate governance, business management, and organizational strategy. Authors are encouraged to read this guide carefully before submitting their manuscripts to ensure smooth processing and high-quality publication.
1. Scope and Aims of the Journal
JBG publishes original, rigorous, and impactful research that advances understanding of corporate governance, managerial practices, and organizational development. Submissions should address contemporary challenges in corporate leadership, governance frameworks, and ethical business practices at organizational, national, or global levels.
Submissions should demonstrate:

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted
JBG accepts the following manuscript types:
2.1 Original Research Articles
Empirical, theoretical, or methodological studies addressing business governance and management issues
Word limit: 6,000–10,000 words
2.2 Review Articles
Systematic, conceptual, or practice-focused reviews
Word limit: 7,000–9,000 words
2.3 Practice and Policy Papers
Studies with clear implications for corporate governance, organizational strategies, or management practices
Word limit: 4,000–6,000 words
Word limits include references but exclude appendices.
3. Language and Style

Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to seek professional editing.

Writing should be clear, concise, and scholarly, avoiding jargon.

6. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should clearly present:

Avoid citations and abbreviations in the abstract.
7. Tables, Figures, and Appendices

Number tables and figures consecutively, referencing them in the text

Place titles above tables and below figures

Appendices should be placed after references and used sparingly
8. Referencing Style

11. Open Access Policy and Fees
