Retraction and Correction Policy

• SRR is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record and follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines for corrections and retractions.
• Articles may be corrected or retracted when significant issues are identified after publication.
• A correction (erratum or corrigendum) will be issued when:
  • Minor errors are found that do not affect the overall findings or conclusions
  • Author details, affiliations, or metadata require updates
  • Small typographical or formatting errors are identified
• A retraction will be issued when:
  • Plagiarism or duplicate publication is confirmed
  • Fabrication or falsification of data is detected
  • Ethical violations are identified (e.g., lack of consent, misconduct)
  • The findings are found to be seriously unreliable
• Retracted articles will remain publicly accessible but clearly marked as “Retracted” to preserve the scholarly record.
• The reason for retraction or correction will be clearly stated in a formal notice linked to the original article.
• Authors may be consulted during the correction or retraction process, but the final decision rests with the editorial board.
• In serious cases of misconduct, the journal may notify authors’ institutions or relevant authorities.
• SRR ensures that all corrections and retractions are handled transparently, fairly, and in accordance with international publishing ethics.
